JR. PUBLIC WORKS ACADEMY FREE WORKSHOPS

Get ready for a summer of learning, creativity, and fun!
Join us every Wednesday in July for the Jr. Public Works Academy, a series of free, hands-on workshops designed for children ages 6–12.
Young participants will discover what it takes to keep McAllen running smoothly while exploring topics such as recycling, environmental stewardship, beautification, wildlife, and the important work of Public Works professionals. Each workshop includes an engaging educational activity.
In addition to attending workshops, participants can complete optional challenges at home to earn points throughout the month. Parents can submit proof of completed challenges, and points can be redeemed for exciting prizes during our end-of-program celebration!
